Gott - Melinda Vancleave

Mrs. Melinda Gott, 82 years of age, widow of the late Samuel Gott, whose death occurred three years ago, died at 6:30 o'clock last evening at the home of her daughter, Mrs. William Todd, 307 Jennison street Mrs. Gott has been in failing health for a long time. She fell and broke her hip and this, together with the infirmities of age, caused her death. She was the daughter of Levi and Matilda Vancleave and lived near New Market. After her marriage she continued to live in that community until the death of her husband, since which time she has been making her home with her daughter in this city. The funeral will be held Friday at 10:00 a.m. at the home of her daughter. Burial will be at the Indiana Creek Hill Cemetery. - kbz
